These national organizations offer preparation materials and guides to help you survive. Locally you will find helpful emergency preparedness materials at your public library, fire departments, and from Community Emergency Response Team – C.E.R.T. members.
Remember the easiest way to survive an emergency is to be physically prepared and mentally armed with knowledge.
In the event of an emergency DO NOT call local emergency responders unless you experience a personal emergency. Dialing emergency for information only ties up vital lines of communication for the injured and emergency responders.
