Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
On the court last night… for the boys… Siuslaw led by as many as 17 and allowed Newport to close to within five before putting the Cubs away 62- 50 at home last night. Jake Thompson had 24 points to lead the Vikings.
For the girls, Newport took their first lead of the game midway through the fourth quarter, but Siuslaw took it back with a minute remaining and held on for a 35-33 road win. Ashlee Cole had 16 points, 12 of those from outside the arc, in the win. Alex Dodson picked up 11 in the Vikings’ 2nd win so far in the season.
On the court tonight… the Mapleton Girls will take on Eddyville this evening on the road… the boys have the night off.
The Oregon Men will be in El Paso Texas where they’ll face UTEP at five… the pregame show on KCST is set for 4:30. Oregon State continues their home run, they’ll host the Howard Bison at seven… pregame on KCFM is at 6:30.
