Local Sports – Volleyball Results; Football Polls

Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…

Liz Harry had 14 kills; Chelsea Simington contributed 20 assists as the Mapleton Sailors powered past Alsea in three games last night on the volleyball court.  That leaves the Sailors at two-and-two in Mountain West League play headed into a home match tomorrow against Lowell.

In non-league play, Reedsport fell in three close-fought games to Creswell, 24-26, 23-25, and 16-23.  The Braves return to conference play tomorrow at Myrtle Point.

Coming up on the court tonight, the Siuslaw Vikings will open up Far West play at home against Sutherlin at six.
