TROUTDALE, Ore. (AP) – Troutdale police say they have identified about a dozen of the 30 or 40 teens who rushed into a grocery store Saturday night in a flash mob robbery. Sgt. CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Benton County deputies say a 16-year-old driver apparently fell asleep when his car collided head-on with another vehicle on Highway 20 in a crash that killed his mother, who was a passenger. The teen and two people in the other car were taken to a hospital in Corvallis.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A dog that was left in a parked car in Portland yesterday died of a heat stroke. A veterinarian at Dove Lewis Animal Hospital tells KGW the pet was left in the car for a relatively short time. The owner didn’t realize the car could get so hot so quick.
