Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…

The Oregon Ducks snapped Kent State’s 21-game win streak yesterday, manufacturing three runs in the seventh inning and then hanging on for a 3-2 victory at PK Park.  The win came after the Golden Flashes came out on top Saturday night 7-6 to open the NCAA Super Regional matchup.  Yesterday’s Duck win evened the series, forcing a third and final game this afternoon at four.  The winner advances to the College Baseball World Series in Omaha.

The Three Rivers Sandblasters hit the diamond for the first time this season over the weekend… They were scheduled for two on Saturday, but field conditions moved the opener to yesterday.  That’s when the Albany Rockets came out on top in two games, 9-2 and 7-2.  The Sandblasters are back on the diamond this afternoon for nine-innings against Salem’s Post Nine at Jiggs Dodson Field in Florence.  That game scheduled for five pm with airtime at 4:45 on Coast Radio Sports…
