PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – State court administrators say they worry that the wheels of justice may slow after dozens of full-time court positions are eliminated by May 1. PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police say demonstrations of free speech are an important part of the community, but they won’t tolerate violations of the law during expected protests on May Day. Police say they believe a group that attempted to re-occupy Chapman Square over the weekend intends civil disobedience on May 1. One 15-year-old demonstrator was arrested on Saturday.

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) – Police have identified the girl who was fatally injured in a tractor accident in Clackamas County The Clackamas Co. Sheriff’s Office says the 18-month-old Olivia Burkholder suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries. The accident happened at her family property in Boring on Saturday night.
