this month and has since expanded its efforts.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A 15-year-old boy whose kayak capsized on
the Willamette River was in critical condition Sunday at Oregon
Health and Science University after rescuers pulled him from the
water and performed CPR. Chad Berg was kayaking with his father and
another man Saturday afternoon near Albany when his kayak filled
with water and he fell in.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – An audit has found that 16 security guards
for a Portland security company were working without completing
their state-required certification. The August audit of Pacific

skateboarder who alleged he was falsely arrested and battered in
2009 by a security guard who was trying to exclude him from the
downtown square.

hit-and-run. They say a man was hit and killed along Southeast
