In Far West League Volleyball this evening it is the Siuslaw Lady Viks on the road to Coos Bay to take on Marshfield… the Mapleton girls are off the court until Saturday when they take on Pacific in Non League volleyball.
Taggart Focused on Energy
Duck Coach Willie Taggart says looking back on last week’s loss to Arizona State he can see a lack of energy from his players. The week previous to the game Taggart says the fervor that he saw in training camp seemed to be missing. This week Taggart says the emphasis was in stoking the fire that is just below the surface. Taggart has been opening practice with what he calls ‘Bulls in the Ring Drill’ where one offensive player and one defensive player Sumo wrestle for position while surrounded by other players. Ducks take on Cal on Saturday. Game coverage begins on KCST at 5:30 pm.
