Volleyball Results:
Siuslaw swept Brookings Harbor in 3 games 25-17, 25-8, 25-7
Mak York led the team with 10 Kills and Emma Collins, Mia Collins, and Alyssa Richards each contributed 4 kills each. And according to coach Hornung, setters, Aylenne Vasquez and Kendal Robinson both played really well and did an awesome job controlling our side of the net.
Triangle Lake defeated the Mapleton Sailors in 3 sets last night 25-19, 25-14, and 27-25. The Sailor girls will be in the fray this weekend at the Reedsport Volleyball Invitational Pool Play tournament Saturday.

The Siuslaw Vikings are on the road for non league Football in Newport. Pregame on KCST is set for 6:45, kick off between the Cubs and Vikings is at 7 o’clock on KCST….. The Mapleton Sailors will be in Alsea for Mountain West League football against the Wolverines.
Siuslaw Cross Country will be in the field at Lane Community College for the Northwest Classic… while the Mapleton Sailors will run in the Harrier’s Challenge at Schwarz Park in Cottage Grove.
Collegiate Gridiron action Saturday begins with the Oregon State Beavers in Pullman taking on the Washington State Cougars. Tomorrow broadcast on KCFM begins at 10:30, Kickoff is set for 11:30….. The Oregon Ducks are in Laramie to take on the Wyoming Cowboys. Pregame on KCST is set for 2:30pm, kick off is scheduled for 4 o’clock….
