Emeralds Sit Two Games Back

The Eugene Emeralds managed to stay out in front of the Everett Aqua Sox through most of the game last night.  Leading 4-3 into the bottom of the 8th inning when a wild pitch by  Luis Aquino scores pinch runner Aaron Stroosma tying the game.  In the bottom of the 9th a walk and two singles drove in the winning run for the Aqua Sox.  The Emeralds are currently 2 games out of first place in the Northwest League South Division. The two teams meet again this evening at 7:05 for game four of the five game series.
