Emeralds Hope for Luckier Home Stand

It has been a long road trip for the Eugene Emeralds as they drop their 5th straight game and drop their series with the Boise Hawks.  Last night the Ems came out strong in the first inning scoring 3 runs including a two run homer by 3rd baseman Austin Filiere, but that would be all the offense they could muster on the evening.  The Hawks answered back in the  bottom of the first with 3 runs of their own and then added 3 more to make the final 6-3.  The Emeralds hope to get their winning ways back at home this evening where they start a 5 game stand against the Spokane Indians.
