Emeralds Drop Another One
The Emeralds got 7 hits on the night but could only score one run as they struggle to find offense for the second night against the Boise Hawks. Boise’s Steven Linkhous drove in 3 runs on 2 hits as Eugene’s pitching struggled to find it’s rhythm. Final score was 4-1 Boise. The two teams meet again this evening.
Beavers to Face Tigers of LSU Again
The LSU Tigers are back to face the OSU Beavers on Friday. The Tigers took an early 5-1 lead against the Seminoles in the second inning and added two more in the 9th. Florida State got some offense going in the bottom of the 9th with two solo homersto make it a 7-4 run, but reliever Zach Hess came in for LSU and struck out the side.
