Record Year for Beavers

Oregon State Beavers fly into Omaha with some impressive numbers racked up this season.  Aside from the 14-0 record Jake Thompson has put up, the Beavers have broken the school record with the most wins at 54 and have a .931 winning percentage which is the best since the university of Texas in 1982.  The game will be on KCFM beginning at 11:30 tomorrow and can also be seen on ESPN.

Emeralds Lose Opener

The Em’s dropped their home opener last night to the visiting Vancouver Canadians 6-1.  There were some bright spots in the game as Eugene hit the ball well, but failed to capitalize leaving runners on base.  And the Canadians attempted to steal three bases and were put out each time.  The next game for the Emeralds is tonight at 7:05 at PK Park in Eugene.
