A non-league civil war baseball game scheduled for last night between Oregon and Oregon State in Corvallis was rained out… it’s not clear when or if it may be rescheduled.

Prep baseball between South Umpqua and Siuslaw was also rained out yesterday.  It’s likely to be made up Thursday at five pm in Florence.

#3 Lancers dominate unranked Siuslaw Softball

On the softball diamond, the number three ranked Lady Lancers ended the game early yesterday at South Umpqua High School, defeating the Siuslaw Vikings 19-1.

On the track…

The freshman trio of Hannah Rannow, Anne Wartnik and Chloe Madden went one-two-three in both the 800 meters and the 15-hundred yesterday at a Far West meet at Douglas High School.  Carissa Oliver won the discus and finished second in the shot put behind Douglas High School’s Darian Mitchell. Abby Watkins won two events… the long jump and the triple.

For the boys, Clark Hooper won both hurdles events… the 110 and the 300; Trent Reavis swept the discus and shot; Dayson Foglio had a personal best of 5-feet-4-inches to finish second in the high jump.
