DENVER (AP) — A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that the Denver Nuggets have traded big man Jusuf Nurkic to the Portland Trail Blazers for center Mason Plumlee.The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Sunday because the trade has not been announced.The Vertical first reported the deal. Denver also receives a second-round pick and cash, while the Blazers get a first-rounder.

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Derrick White scored 23 points and the Colorado Buffaloes capitalized on the return of suspended seniors Wesley Gordon and Xavier Johnson to wallop Washington State 81-49 on Sunday night.The Buffaloes (15-11, 5-8 Pac-12) had a season-best 12 steals and scored 34 points off Washington State’s two dozen turnovers. Robert Franks led Washington State with 10 points.

SEATTLE (AP) — National scoring leader Kelsey Plum had 29 points, Chantel Osahor added 18 points and 18 rebounds, and No. 10 Washington beat No. 23 Arizona State 70-57 on Sunday night.Plum got Washington (24-3, 12-2 Pac-12) going with a big first quarter then let Osahor command the interior as the Huskies won their fourth straight since losing at home to Stanford.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Kolbie Orum and Mikayla Pivec each scored 12 points and No. 9 Oregon State rebounded from a loss to unranked USC on Friday with a 68-61 victory over No. 15 UCLA on Sunday. Sydney Wiese had 10 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists for Oregon State (23-3, 12-2 Pac-12). With her second assist of the game, Wiese set the school record for career helpers, moving past Leilani Estavan’s 577 for the Beavers.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Oregon cruised to a 73-50 win over Southern California on Sunday.Both teams were coming off Pac-12 upsets — the Ducks (16-9, 6-7) beat No. 15 UCLA by nine and the Trojans (13-12, 4-10) beat No. 9 Oregon State by 20 — on Friday.
