Brooks’ buzzer beater bashes Bruins
Dillon Brooks connected on a long three-point jumper at the buzzer to hand Oregon their 34th straight home win; and the first loss of the season to the UCLA Bruins; 89-87 last night.
It was Oregon’s first win of the season over a ranked team… the Bruins were listed at number two in the AP poll headed into last night.
The Ducks will face another undefeated team, the USC Trojans, tomorrow night.
Speaking of the Trojans, they took an early, insurmountable lead last night against Oregon State, then held off a late surge by the Beavers for a 70-63 win in the Pac-12 opener for both teams. Oregon State will host UCLA Friday night.
