It was the Clippers’ second victory over the Blazers this season.

SEATTLE (AP) — Washington has signed five players to national letters of intent, inking one of the top recruiting classes in the country for 2017 led by forward Michael Porter Jr. Washington announced a recruiting class that is rated by some recruiting services as being in the top five in the country.

UNDATED (AP) – Nike and Cristiano Ronaldo have extended their long-term sponsorship deal. The Portuguese soccer star has had a contract with Nike since 2003 and wears its Mercurial cleats. In a video released by the Beaverton, Oregon-based apparel maker, he suggested the deal was “for life,” although terms weren’t released.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — WBO cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will defend his belt on the undercard of Bernard Hopkins’ farewell fight Dec. 17. Usyk’s promoters announced his bout against South Africa’s Thabiso Mchunu yesterday. Usyk will make his U.S. debut at the Forum before the 51-year-old Hopkins’ bout against Joe Smith Jr.
