SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – Embattled Washington State football coach
Paul Wulff has canceled his regular Sunday evening conference call
with reporters. Sports information director Bill Stevens said Wulff
was in a meeting and not available to meet with reporters. There
has been widespread speculation about whether Wulff would return
for a fifth season. Washington State finished 4-8 this season after
losing to archrival Washington in the Apple Cup.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State backup quarterback Ryan Katz
was granted his release yesterday. Katz was projected as the

Mannion, and still has a year of eligibility left. He is on track
to graduate with a degree in business finance in March. He will be
eligible to play in 2012 for any program outside the Pac-12 on the
condition that he enrolls for post-graduate studies.
