PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police have located the parents
of 2-year-old boy Sunday after the child was found with a woman who
was not his mother. Lt. Robert King says police are investigating

boy Sunday morning with a 30-year-old woman known to police to have
mental health and drug issues.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A fire started by a faulty electrical
circuit in the wall has damaged a North Portland restaurant that
opened in November. Portland Fire and Rescue Lt. Rich Tyler says
the blaze yesterday morning caused $100,000 in damages to
Interurban Tavern. No injuries were reported. Tyler says the fire
had started in an outside wall of the building and traveled up
through open spaces inside the wall to the attic where the fire
grew.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – Officials say two people attempting to make
hashish in a Medford bathroom were injured Saturday when the room
erupted in flames. The Mail-Tribune says 27-year-old Clayton Morgan
and a 23-year-old woman suffered burns. They were treated at a
hospital. Fire officials say Morgan was making hashish in his
bathtub when an electric heater kicked on and ignited the butane
gas he was using to heat the drug.
