Deciding game this evening in Eugene
The Eugene Emeralds evened the score last night in their three game series against Salem-Keizer with a 4-1 win over the Volcanoes at PK Park in Eugene.
The Ems took an early four run lead; allowing only one Volcano run later in the game.
They got a big hand at the plate from two Northwest League All Stars: Robert Garcia and Chris Pieters each went two-for-four at the plate. The duo will be starters in next week’s league All Star Game. Before that, the rubber match of the Eugene – Salem series is this evening.
