No. 9 Miami beat South Florida 92-72 in the final of the Great
Alaska Shootout last night. Shenise Johnson added 11 points and

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – Bandja Sy scored 15 points and Wendell
McKines had a double-double to pace New Mexico State past Central
Michigan 78-49 last night in the Great Alaska Shootout. McKines had
13 points and 12 rebounds for the Aggies. Christian Kabongo scored

close in the second half.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – If there was a college football award for
reliever of the year, Washington State quarterback Marshall
Lobbestael would certainly win. Lobbestael has spent his four years
moving in and out of the starting lineup in relief of injured
quarterbacks. He’ll do it one more time tomorrow when he starts the
Apple Cup game against archrival Washington.
