Dominate Indians

The Eugene Emeralds used seven hits and capitalized on three Spokane errors last night on the way to an 8-2 win to wrap up a five game home series against the Indians.

It was the fourth straight win for the Ems who sit alone atop the Northwest league with an 8-3 record.

Third baseman Matt Rose was 2-3 at the plate with a two run home run in the eighth inning to put the dot on the exclamation point for Eugene.

The Emeralds head out on the road for a three game series in Boise beginning tonight.
