Ashlee Cole was the 2014 Athlete of the Year in her senior year at Siuslaw
2014 Siuslaw grad Ashlee Cole earned First Team All-Cascade Collegiate Conference Softball honors recently. Cole had one of the best offensive seasons in Northwest Christian University History this year. She led the Beacons in several categories, including a .343 batting average and a slugging percentage of .843.
Cole’s 14 home runs, couple with 11 more extra base hits accounted for 25 of her 37 hits on the season. She scored the most runs, hit the most triples and led conference in home runs.
District Track and Field meets this weekend
Siuslaw Track and Field is preparing for the 2016 Far West League District Meet beginning tomorrow at Douglas High School in Winston. Mapleton Track and Field will be at McKenzie High School Saturday for the Mountain West League District Meet.
