BOULDER, Colo. (AP) – Ruth Hamblin scored Oregon State’s first 10 points and finished with 20, and the 11th-ranked Beavers defeated Colorado 61-47 yesterday. Jamie Weisner added 14 points and Marie Gulich had 10 rebounds to go with eight points as Oregon State (16-3, 7-1 Pac 12) outrebounded the Buffaloes 47-32.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Gary Payton II had 22 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and four steals, leading Oregon State over No. 21 Southern California 85-70 yesterday. Tres Tinkle added 18 points and Drew Eubanks had 12 points and three blocks as the Beavers (12-6, 3-4 Pac-12) broke a three-game losing streak.

SEATTLE (AP) – Jakob Poeltl scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Lorenzo Bonam had two key baskets early in overtime, and Utah knocked Washington from first place in the Pac-12 Conference with an 80-75 overtime win last night. Poeltl and the Utes (15-5, 4-3 Pac-12) overcame awful shooting in the first half to complete a sweep of the Washington schools.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – Jillian Alleyne had 23 of her 26 points in the first half and grabbed 12 rebounds to match the Pac 12 record of 85 double-doubles and Oregon defeated Utah 77-65 yesterday. Alleyne tied Stanford’s Chiney Ogwumike for the league record for double-doubles and is three behind Bev Smith’s school record, established before the NCAA sponsored women’s sports.
