EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Elgin Cook matched his career high with 26 points and Chris Boucher had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Oregon to an 89-81 victory over No. 21 Southern California last night. Dwayne Benjamin also had 16 points off the bench for the Ducks, who moved into a tie for second place in the Pac-12 with their 18th consecutive home win.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Jordan Loveridge scored 22 points and Brandon Taylor added 21 to lead Utah to a 92-71 win over Washington State last night. The Utes, who have won two in a row and three of four, evened their conference record after starting 0-2 in league play. Que Johnson and Josh Hawkinson both scored 16 points for Washington State. The Cougars have lost a season-high four straight and seven of nine.

MORAGA, Calif. (AP) – Evan Fitzner scored 20 points and Saint Mary’s survived a late mental error to beat Gonzaga 70-67 for sole possession of first place in the West Coast Conference. Joe Rahon made 1 of 2 free throws with 6.6 seconds left to put Saint Mary’s up 68-67. Eric McClellan finished with 23 points for Gonzaga, which led by as many as 15 points in the second half.

SEATTLE (AP) – Pascal Siakam had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead New Mexico State to a 68-60 victory over Seattle last night. Siakam posted his 10th straight and NCAA-leading 18th double-double. Ian Baker added 15 points and Jalyn Pennie 12 for the Aggies, who made 22 of 26 free throws to Seattle’s 6-of-13.
