Oregon State and Oregon host non-league games this weekend
The Oregon State Beavers, under second year head coach Wayne Tinkle are preparing to open the basketball season. The Beavs will host Northwest Christian University Saturday afternoon at Gill Coliseum. Oregon State has been picked to finish sixth in the preseason Pac-12 poll and return all five starters for the first time in 11 years.
Oregon will open the season Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena where they’ll host Jackson State in the opening game of the Global Sports Shootout.
