Oregon State routed by UCLA

Oregon State put on a good show in the first quarter, but for the following 45 minutes in was all UCLA as the Bruins routed the Beavers 41-nothing Saturday afternoon in Corvallis.

Josh Rosen threw a pair of touchdown passes to Thomas Duarte, keeping alive Pac-12 title hopes for number 22 ranked UCLA.

In Eugene, Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns as the Ducks became bowl eligible with a 44-28 victory over slumping Cal. Bralon Addison caught a pair of touchdown passes and Royce Freeman had 29 carries for 300 yards and four touchdowns.

Oregon basketball prepares for season opener

On the college court, Oregon wrapped up pre-season preparations with a 91-40 exhibition win over Southern Oregon last night in Eugene. The Ducks officially open the season Friday night at home in the Global Sports Shootout against Jackson State.
