SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) – Russell Wilson threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett late in the first half, Marshawn Lynch jumped the pile for a 1-yard score, and the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-3 yesterday for their fourth straight win in this rivalry. Wilson completed 10 of his first 12 passes and finished with 235 yards passing. He was sacked five times to push his NFL-leading total to 31.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) – Former Australian rugby league star Jarryd Hayne is inactive for San Francisco for the first time this season as the 49ers were set to host the rival Seahawks last night. The running back and return man played in each of the first six games. He also visited Seattle and went to a game last fall before signing with the 49ers.

UNDATED (AP) — The Arizona Wildcats host Washington State tomorrow at 1 p.m. for homecoming. The Wildcats are coming off a 38-31 victory against Colorado. Washington State hopes to continue its two-game winning streak that includes a victory over Oregon in Eugene.

UNDATED (AP) – Blake Griffin scored 22 points and Paul Pierce had 19 as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 115-109 in the preseason finale for both teams last night. Pierce scored 14 in the fourth quarter and the Clippers came back from 28 points down in the first quarter and an 18-point halftime deficit. J.J. Redick’s 3-pointer tied it at 102. Wesley Jonson followed with a 3-pointer to give the Clippers the lead for good.
