Viking basketball gets new coach

Will Biggs retired two years ago from a lengthy career coaching college and high school basketball in the San Francisco Bay area. His intention was to move to Oregon and do plenty of fishing.

He may still wet a line or two, but he’ll also be on the bench coaching the Siuslaw boys.   He has five high school conference championships and two state championship game appearances to his credit. In 1997 he took over the Cal State University East Bay program where he accumulated 223 wins in 16 seasons. Biggs holds school records for the most coaching wins and the highest winning percentage… .514.

He’ll make his Siuslaw debut December 4th against Coquille.
