CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – A former Oregon State University student who appears in a pornographic video recorded in the OSU library has pleaded guilty to public indecency. KEZI-TV reports that Kendra Sunderland appeared in Benton County Circuit Court to face the charge and a judge fined her $1,000. In January, a then 19-year-old freshman at OSU Sunderland appeared in a video that shows her undressing at a table and performing sex acts in front of her computer’s webcam.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A Tualatin High School teacher has pleaded not guilty to sex abuse charges involving a student. The Oregonian reports that the Washington County sheriff’s office says Jonathan Maggiano is accused of contacting a student who was not in his class through a gaming website and having sexual contact with her. The school district says Maggiano remains on paid leave.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Oregon Department of Transportation officials say they’re planning to shut down a growing homeless camp in Portland. KATU-TV News reports the land where dozens of people have been living in tents is owned by ODOT. Officials say they’re working with Portland police to do a sweep of the land this week.

FLORENCE, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say a man from Germany is dead after a collision yesterday involving three motorcycles on Highway 101 north of Florence. Witnesses told troopers that three were northbound and passing two vehicles in a no-passing zone when the lead motorcycle slowed abruptly, causing all three to collide.
