On the college gridiron

It was a tough day for the state of Oregon in Michigan… Oregon State was routed by Michigan 35-7 Saturday in Ann Arbor. The Beavers took the opening kickoff and marched down the field to score within the first two minutes, but that was all as the Wolverines took over from there.

Down the road in East Lansing, number 5 Michigan State held off Oregon 31-28. The Ducks had a chance at the end after scoring with 3:25 remaining. They forced the Spartans to punt, and Oregon drove to the Michigan State 33 before their drive stalled.

Oregon will host Georgia State Saturday morning at 11; Oregon State will host San Jose State at five.
