Eugene wins third game of crucial series against Hillsboro

The Eugene Emeralds lost the lead in the south division with two weekend losses, 3-1 and 3-nothing, to the Hillsboro Hops at PK Park. But, they regained it yesterday with a 10-4 win over the Hops.

There are six games remaining in the regular season and they’ll all be on the road for the Emeralds… three beginning tomorrow at Salem-Keizer; then three more against the Hops beginning Friday.

If Eugene can hang on to the division lead, they’ll have a chance for at least one more home game in the league playoffs next week.
