Eugene out powers Boise
Four Eugene pitchers combined for eight strikeouts and held the Hawks scoreless for a nine-run shutout win in Boise last night. It was the Emeralds’ third straight win… the last two have been over the Hawks.
The final game of their three game series is tonight in Boise. The Emeralds will be at home tomorrow where they’ll begin five games against Everett.
Duck running back likely out for season
Fall camp for the Oregon Ducks opened yesterday without Oregon running back Thomas Tyner.
He could miss the entire season after shoulder surgery.
Oregon does not announce injuries as a policy. But players confirmed that Tyner had surgery on his left shoulder and his return this season was doubtful.
