Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:

The Eugene Emeralds lost their fourth straight game last night in Vancouver, falling 4-2 to the Canadians. Eugene took a 2-1 lead in the top of the second, but the Canucks tied it in the bottom of the frame, then took the lead for good in the third.

The Emeralds begin a six game home stand this evening at PK Park in Eugene when they host Salem-Keizer. The Boise Hawks will be in town on Sunday.

Viking Football Camps begin August 10th

The prep football schedule is just over a month away. That means the annual Siuslaw Youth Football Camps get under way soon. Camp runs August tenth through the 13th at Siuslaw High School. Registration is no open for 2nd to 4th graders; fifth through 8th graders; frosh-soph; and varsity conditioning. Information is available at the high school office.
