Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:
The DeMarini Dirtbags completed a three game sweep of the Three Rivers Sandblasters yesterday in Florence with a double-header win.
Game one was a mercy-rule shortened 11-1 Dirtbag victory… Game two was 10-3.
Next up for the ‘Blasters… a non-league double header Sunday afternoon against the Roseburg Doc Stewarts.
Northwest League
In the Northwest League; the Eugene Emeralds capped a five game series against the Vancouver Canadians with an 8-4 win at PK Park. The Emeralds take their four-game win streak on the road today when they travel to the Tri Cities. They open a five game series against the Dust Devils.
With a 13-8 record, the Emeralds are two games ahead of the Hillsboro Hops, leading the Southern Division of the Northwest League.
