OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – Scott Kazmir pitched eight sparkling innings, Marcus Semien homered for the first time in nearly two months, and the Oakland Athletics beat the Seattle Mariners 4-0 last night. Josh Phegley had a two-run single and Mark Canha added an RBI triple for the A’s, who ended a five-game losing streak against the Mariners.

UNDATED (AP) – A person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press that Damian Lillard has agreed to terms with the Portland Trail Blazers on a five-year extension worth more than $120 million. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced. Lillard’s contract could be worth up to $129 million, depending on the salary cap.

UNDATED (AP) – Ed Davis is leaving Los Angeles for the Portland Trail Blazers. Davis’ agent says his client has agreed to a three-year, $20 million contract to join the Blazers. He averaged 8.3 points and 7.6 rebounds in his first season with the Lakers last year.

NEW YORK (AP) – Arron Afflalo is about to team up with Carmelo Anthony again. A person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press that Afflalo has accepted a two-year, $16 million offer from the New York Knicks. A shooting guard, Afflalo spent parts of two seasons as Anthony’s teammate in Denver. Afflalo also has spent time with Detroit, Orlando and Portland.
