Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:
The Three Rivers Sandblasters and Corvallis Marketmen split a Zone Three double-header yesterday in Florence. The ‘Blasters came out on top 14-2 in game one with the Marketmen finding victory 17-3 in the nightcap.
In game one there were three Sandblasters with three RBI each. : Jonathan Bennison; Joe Hixenbaugh; and Elijah Nunez were each two-for-three at the plate. Brad Snow went the distance on the mound for the win. Tyler Campbell took the loss in game two, pitching 4 2/3 innings in relief.
Three Rivers will host the Eugene Challengers for two non-league games Saturday.
Emeralds win at home
The Eugene Emeralds picked up their first home win of the season yesterday with an 8-3 victory over the Boise Hawks. The rubber match of the three game series is tonight at PK Park.
