The Three Rivers Sandblasters swept the North Coos Waterfront in both halves of a double-header Friday in Florence; coming out on top 18-3 and 13-12.
Yesterday, the Roseburg Doc Stewarts came to town. They held the Sandblasters to just two runs on ten hits for a 9-2 non-league victory.
Emeralds win
The Eugene Emeralds picked up their first win of the season Friday night in Everett: a 7-5 victory over the Aqua Sox. The Sox won the next two games in the series, 10-4 and 9-8. The two teams wrap up their five-game series this evening. The Emeralds will open at home tomorrow night against the Boise Hawks.
