NCAA Track and Field Titles remain in Eugene
The Oregon men and women made Track and Field history over the weekend, coming away from the NCAA championships with both team titles at Hayward Field.
The Oregon men had three individual champions and four second place finishes for their second straight national championship. The women had two individual winners and several other athletes scoring points in supporting roles for their first title since 1995.
Sandblasters open season at home
On the diamond today; the Three Rivers Sandblasters open the 2015 American Legion baseball season at home against the Withnell Dodgers.
That game will air on Coast Radio Sports with the pregame show at 3:45… first pitch from Jiggs Dodson Field is at four.
