Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:

The Oregon women lead team scoring after day one of their portion of the NCAA National Track and Field Championships in Eugene. The Ducks scored 31 points yesterday at Hayward Field, but face serious challenges from Arkansas, Georgia, and Southern Illinois with 22, 21 and 20 points respectively.

Jenna Prandini finished 2nd in the long jump with an Oregon record of 22-feet-3 ¾-inches yesterday. She competed in three other events, advancing to the finals in all of them. The women will wrap up competition tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the men get back into action today. They led scoring after the first day of competition Wednesday.
