Bruins bump ducks to softball elimination round
The Oregon softball team lost to Pac-12 rival UCLA 7-1 last night in Oklahoma City to open the NCAA Women’s College World Series. That puts the Ducks on the elimination track if they want to survive long enough to make it to Monday’s final series. The Lady Ducks will face Alabama tomorrow morning… a win advances them to another elimination game tomorrow afternoon… and from there two more elimination games Sunday.
Baseball Regionals get underway
NCAA Regional baseball play begins today in Springfield, Missouri for the Oregon Ducks as they take on Iowa. Oregon State is in Dallas, Texas where they’ll face the Texas Longhorns… Play continues through at least Sunday… all Oregon State games will air on KCFM AM 1250-FM 104.1.
