Douglas spoils Siuslaw senior night
The Lady Vikings forced three runs across the plate in the bottom of the ninth, but fell short yesterday in a 10-3 Far West League softball loss at home to the Douglas Trojans. It was senior night… Halee Richards, the sole upper classman on the roster… was honored. Siuslaw will wrap up their season tomorrow in North Bend with two games against the Bulldogs. Viking Baseball will be at home tomorrow for two games against North Bend.

The Oregon State Beavers routed the Portland Pilots yesterday, 20-nothing, in a special non-league exhibition game at Volcano Stadium in Keizer. The Beavers will be at Stanford beginning tomorrow for a three game series against the Cardinal.
Oregon’s Diamond Ducks overcame a one-run deficit in the sixth inning for a 2-1 non-league win over Gonzaga in Eugene. The Ducks will be in Salt Lake tomorrow where they’ll begin a three game series against Utah.
