GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) – Police in Gresham have released profiles of two people they say might have been involved in the shooting death of a 25-year-old man. The Oregonian reports that Erick Carnegie was found dead in the street late Monday after being shot. Police say he was growing medical marijuana in his home. Police are searching for a skinny 6-foot, 1-inch man in his mid-20s and a 5-foot, 8-inch goateed man of about 160 pounds.

POST, Ore. (AP) – Sheriff’s officers in central Oregon say a 51-year-old man was fatally shot in a domestic dispute at a home in the small town of Post, southeast of Prineville. The man who died has been identified as William Brown. Crook County deputies say Brown was shot by a relative and there is no threat to the public. KTVZ-TV reports that neighbors say a father and adult son lived at the home on Southeast Terrible Trail.

GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) – A car slammed into a utility pole in Gresham, injuring two and leaving 3,000 people in the area without power. Police tell KPTV-TV the driver fell asleep at the wheel yesterday before slamming into a pole. A passing car got tangled in the power lines from the downed pole and flipped onto its top. The driver was trapped inside and had to be rescued. A pedestrian was stuck by something. Both injured people were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say an autopsy shows that a 28-year-old man brought to the Baker County Jail died of a methamphetamine overdose after a plastic baggie apparently ruptured in his stomach. Police said yesterday that toxicology tests showed a high level of meth in Joshua Pantle’s system.
