Officials of the Pine Eagle Charter School declined to comment.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Firefighters in Portland have rescued a man who found himself hanging 40 feet up in a tree he had been trimming after he injured himself with a chain saw. SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler is renewing an effort to push federal financial regulators to require that publicly traded companies disclose their political spending. The proposal has been a popular cause among some investors and politicians, primarily Democrats, since the U.S. Supreme Court opened the door for corporations to increase spending on political campaigns. A spokeswoman for the SEC declined to comment.
