Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports
Chris Free and Tucker Ford were double event winners yesterday at a four-way meet in Oakland, pacing the Mapleton boys to a second place team finish. Free won the 800 meters and the triple jump, as well as running a leg in the winning four-by-100 relay. Ford won the high jump and the three-thousand.
Other individual winners… Hunter Simington, Anthony Riggs, and Jacob Pruett.
For the girls, they ended the day in third place.
On the schedule
Far West League double headers are in play for the Siuslaw Vikings and Marshfield Pirates. Softball is in Florence, baseball in Coos Bay. Game one gets underway in each city at three… baseball will air on Coast Radio Sports with the airtime at 2:45.
Several Siuslaw Vikings will be competing at Hayward Field in Eugene during day two tomorrow of the Oregon Relays.
College Baseball… Oregon State opens a three day home series this evening at 5:30 against the Arizona Wildcats. All three of those games will air on KCFM. Oregon is in Los Angeles where they’re facing number ten ranked USC.
