PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Chris Paul had a season-high 41 points and 17 assists and the Los Angeles Clippers rallied in the second half for a 126-122 victory over the Trail Blazers, denying Portland a chance at clinching the Northwest Division title last night. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Blazers, who needed a win to secure their first division title since the 2008-09 season when they shared it with Denver.

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) – Eastern Washington guard Tyler Harvey, the nation’s leading scorer this season, will skip his senior year and make himself available for the NBA draft. Harvey made the announcement yesterday in Cheney, Washington. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Harvey is projected for the second round of the NBA draft.

PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) – Avisail Garcia homered among his three hits and drove in four runs, Jose Abreu added to his sizzling spring training with two more hits and a Chicago White Sox split squad beat the Seattle Mariners 12-4 yesterday. Abreu raised his spring training-leading batting average to .518 (29 for 56).

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed versatile fullback Will Tukuafu and defensive tackle Jesse Williams, who has spent the last two seasons on injured reserve.
