LAS VEGAS (AP) – David Kravish had 25 points and eight rebounds, lifting California to a dominating 84-59 win over Washington State in the opening game of the Pac-12 tournament yesterday. Cal (18-14) turned a close game into a rout with an impressive shooting display, hitting 14 of 15 shots spanning halftime to build a 17-point lead.

LAS VEGAS (AP) – Josh Scott had 16 points and 14 rebounds, Askia Booker added 20 points and Colorado pulled away for a 78-71 victory over Oregon State in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament last night. Colorado (15-16) traded shots with Beavers in an entertaining first half before stretching its lead in the second half behind Booker and Scott.

PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) – Troy Tulowitzki homered for his first hit in a game since last July and looked strong in the field in the Colorado Rockies’ 4-1 win over the Seattle Mariners yesterday. Mariners left-hander Danny Hultzen, a top prospect out all of last season after left shoulder surgery, pitched in his first game since Sept. 1, 2013, in the minors. The former first-round draft pick walked one in a three-up, three-down inning of work.

SEATTLE (AP) – Washington state is suing a ticket seller for taking orders for more than $149,000 in Super Bowl tickets and then telling customers at the last minute it could not fill those orders. Washington Attorney General announced the state had received 24 complaints about SBTickets regarding 60 tickets.
