Ducks come out on top in see-saw Civil War

Elgin Cook scored 17 points to lead Oregon past Oregon State 65-62 last night in a hotly contested rivalry game at Gill Coliseum.

The Ducks have now won five in a row and have a bye in the first round of next week’s Pac-12 tournament. Malcom Duvivier (doo-VIV-ee-ay) led Oregon State with 18 points. The Beavers have lost six of their last seven games. They’ll open the Pac-12 tournament next Wednesday in Las Vegas; likely as the number six seed against number 11 Washington.
