Here is the latest Oregon news from The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police say a man used a metal grate to break a glass door last night and entered the Multnomah County Courthouse. Deputies responded to an alarm and also received a 911 call from a deputy DA who discovered the break-in. The suspect came out and surrendered. Police say he had pulled a fire alarm. They also say he had pulled a fire alarm earlier at the Portland Police Bureau Central Precinct.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Triple-A reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon has risen 32 cents in a week to $2.78. That’s up 66 cents in a month and 35 cents higher than the national average. Some metro prices — Portland $2.81, Salem $2.77, Eugene-Springfield $2.85, Medford-Ashland $2.86.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – The snow level at Crater Lake National Park was at a record low for this time of year. Rangers tell the Mail Tribune that the official snow depth at park headquarters was 28 inches Thursday. The park is actually at 104 percent of its average precipitation for this time of the year. But warmer temperatures have caused much of that moisture to fall as rain rather than snow.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – Damian Lillard scored nine of his 31 points in the fourth quarter and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Sacramento Kings 110-99 yesterday for their third straight victory. LaMarcus Aldridge had 26 points and 15 rebounds for Portland, which is 14-13 on the road.
