SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – Damian Lillard scored nine of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, LaMarcus Aldridge had 26 points and 15 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Sacramento Kings 110-99 yesterday for their third straight victory. Wes Matthews scored 17 points and Robin Lopez had 15 points and eight rebounds for Portland. The Blazers won on the road for the second time in 11 games.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) – Dwayne Benjamin made one of two free throws with 14 seconds remaining to give Oregon the lead in a 73-70 victory over Stanford yesterday to clinch the third seed and a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Conference tournament. Elgin Cook also scored 21 points for the Ducks, who won their fourth straight and eight of nine overall. Benjamin finished with 15 points.

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) – Jordan Mathews scored 17 points, Jabari Bird had 14 and California used a big run in the second half to pull away and beat Oregon State 73-56 yesterday. Cal scored 15 consecutive points and outscored the Beavers 24-2 over a six-minute span to take the lead for good. Malcolm Duvivier had 18 points and eight rebounds for Oregon State.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Norman Powell scored a career-high 28 points, hitting a key 3-pointer with 1:34 to go, and UCLA grinded out a 72-67 victory over Washington State last night that gave the Bruins possession of fourth place in the Pac-12. Josh Hawkinson had 21 points and 14 rebounds and DaVonte Lacy added 19 points for the Cougars.
